The fruit seller's mangoes

Once upon time in a kingdom called Alabama there lived a fruit seller who was famous for his mangoes. Everyone use to wonder how he used to grow sweet mangoes in such harsh weather also. One day the king called him to ask him about the method he used to grow mangoes. The fruit seller brought some of his mangoes with him when he came. Now, the king had a pet monkey with him. the monkey's name was Ted.  So as all of you know, monkeys love mangoes. So when the fruit seller came in, Ted instantly got the fragrance and rushed behind the king. When he and the king reached where the fruit seller was, the king started talking to the fruit seller. When Ted looked at the basket of mangoes, he saw something that made him very curious, something shiny, something which he couldn't resist going near. He saw a rainbow coloured mango half eaten. He bit the mango and fell unconscious for a moment or two, and when he awoke he found himself in a dense forest full of mangoes. He ate one. Then he realised that the fruit seller was getting his mangoes from this forest. Soon, darkness fell upon the forest, and Ted felt frightened. He walked for a while and then, a door appeared out of nowhere. When Ted went into the door he found himself back in his kingdom. he ran to the palace and hugged the king. The king was confused, but Ted was too tired to explain anything. The next day, Ted decided to take the king to the forest. He took the mango out, and gave it to the king. The king was very puzzled, but he ate it. Ted also ate it. When Ted woke up, he was back in the forest, and beside him was the king  still unconscious. after a couple of minutes the king also woke up and was very puzzled to see so many mangoes around him. Ted tried to explain, but as he was a monkey he couldn't. Then he got an idea. He gave a mango to the king. When he ate it he immediately recognised the taste. Then Ted led the way to the door which led back to Alabama. After reaching back to the palace the king ordered the guards to go to the fruit seller's house and get a rainbow mango from him. The guards went and brought back a dozen. The king understood the secret of how the fruit seller had sweet mangoes all year.
