Heroes VS Villains

 Who do you like more, heroes or villains??

I will give you my opinion.

I like villains and heroes equally because I think villains always do bad stuff for a valid reason, even if it's selfish. For example, Voldemort killed people because he wanted to become immortal, and I guess many of you dreamt of it. He pursued his dream even if it meant killing thousands of people, and for that, I think he's really brave not to give up. I agree what he did was wrong and that he was heartless, but he had a reason, and Harry Potter just crushed one person's dream, which a hundred others might have. And Harry killed him without even considering that he might be in the same place if he had the courage. The same thing goes for Percy Jackson and Kronos.  I have a soft spot even for people who do bad stuff for money. It was just what they were taught to do, and their guardians are to blame. This type of villain can change if they're talked to more sufficiently. But instead, our fellow heroes think that they committed a crime so bad they thought the criminals deserve to die without learning their lesson.

Of course, there are other type of villains too. Villains who take advantage of the kind people around them. They do bad things for fun, even if the people have sacrificed and helped the villain succeed. For example, Damian Cray in Eagle Strike(Alex Rider). He made a video game in which people might get killed for real while playing it. Even when the same people paid to see his shows and even bought his game. I don't like that type.

I don't understand some villains like Nikolei Drevin in Ark Angle(Alex Rider). He wanted to make an outer-space hotel, but sent a bomb with it so that it crashed and destroyed a quarter of the earth, for no reason at all! That's a mix of good and evil.

I like villains who are brave, and they do bad stuff openly, knowing that people are after them and sometimes give hints to them.

Villains are not all bad. And our heroes should give them a chance to change.
